Klean Gutter’s underlying body is a new approach to classic, expanded metal gutter guard designs. There are more than 30 different expanded metal shapes, and even more expanded metal sizes. Additionally, expanded metal can be positioned in 8 different directions. Each style and size has a different reaction to water: some work and some fail. MULTIPLE INSTALLATION METHODS

Klean Gutter can be installed two ways: slide underneath the roof shingles or mounted to the fascia. Fascia mount doesn’t touch the shingles and under the shingle installation is a shingle manufacturer approved installation methodology. Again, this means that sliding the product beneath the roof shingles will void NO shingle manufacturer warranties.

Klean Gutter is designed to be installed at the same angle as the roof. This is key element of Higginbotham designs. Pitching with the roof helps the system shed debris on its own, since gutter covers that install flat act like a shelf and collect debris. The product is pitched with either installation method. FORCING WATER INTO THE GUTTER

For heavy rains, Klean Gutter has downward channels under the filter’s surface. This creates long paths a fast water flow is compelled to follow.The product forces water down through the mesh into the gutter, rather than letting the water run over the edge of the cover. It’s a massive improvement in performance when compared with competing gutter guards.

The two sizes of Klean Gutter are compatible with both 5- and 6-inch gutters. For the cold months, a heat cable can be added under the main surface of the gutter cover. In snow and ice conditions, when a heat cable is installed, heat can radiate up through the porous filter, to melt snow or ice. Heat is more efficiently used in Klean Gutter than in other dealer-installed products that heat the metal of the gutter covers rather than the ice or snow. No more unnecessary snow and ice concerns.
